The Sony HDW-F900 was used by George Lucas to shoot Star Wars Episodes II & III. Sony’s HDW-F900 CineAlta camera is designed for digital filmmaking, and offers the ability to record gorgeous HD images in 24P. It is capable of capturing images at 24/25/30 frame progressive or 50/60 interlace at 1080 resolution. The HDW-F900 utilizes a 2.2 Mega Pixel FIT CCD and comes equipped with various gamma curves for superior imaging. The F900 delivers astonishing color reproduction accuracy, an impressive contrast range, and comprehensive set of image adjustments for outstanding in-camera creativity. The camcorder also features dual filter wheels and a Memory Stick setup system to save and recall various parameter settings.
